Why Christian ? Warum Christ ?
In statistics most people name themselves
christians. To know, what a Christian is, we ought to ask him
, from whom this name comes. Jesus Christ clearly had said in the bible , what a Christian is.
Laut Statistik nennen sich die meisten Menschen Christen. Um zu wissen, was ein Christ ist, müßten wir doch den fragen, von dem dieser Name kommt. Jesus Christus hat in der Bibel gesagt, was ein Christ ist.
Joh 3,16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Warum bin ich Christ
Einfach nur, weil ich an Gott glaube. Aus der Bibel sehe ich, was das heißt: glauben:
I acknowledge, that God is the Almighty. He created
anything, as well as me. He is holy, he endures
no sin. I am a sinner. I have no chance by myself to have
a personally relation to God
, but this is, what he will. He is righteous.
Warum bin ich Christ
Einfach nur, weil ich an Gott glaube. Aus der Bibel sehe ich, was das heißt: glauben:
Ich erkenne an, daß Gott der Allmächtige ist. Er hat alles, auch mich geschaffen. Er ist heilig, er duldet keine Sünde. Ich bin ein Sünder. Ich habe von mir aus keine Chance, eine persönliche Beziehung zu Gott zu haben, was aber er will. Er ist gerecht.
For God loves me, he had found a way,
that in spite of my sins I can be justified.
Weil Gott mich aber liebt, hat er einen Weg gefunden, daß ich trotz meiner Sünden gerecht werden kann.
For he has to punish on account of the sin. Because he is righteous
, somebody had to pay for that. Since God had defined the death penalty
for the sin, somebody must die.
Weil er die Sünde bestrafen muß, weil er gerecht ist, muß jemand dafür bezahlen. Da Gott die Todesstrafe für die Sünde festgelegt hat, muß also jemand sterben.
In his great love he has sent his son Jesus Christ from heaven to earth, on behalf of
us men to suffer this death penalty .
In seiner großen Liebe hat er seinen Sohn Jesus Christus aus dem Himmel auf die Erde geschickt, um für uns Menschen diese Todesstrafe zu erleiden.

God. As Lord: Because I am saved, I will do God's will.
Ich glaube das ganz fest, habe meine Sünde (Sünden) bekannt und bekenne sie, und habe Jesus als meinen Retter und Herrn angenommen. Als Retter: ich kann ihm danken, daß er meine Schuld weggenommen hat, daß ich ein Kind Gottes sein darf. Als Herrn: Weil ich errettet bin, will ich Gottes Willen tun.
At an age of approximately 39 years I began
to learn playing tenor horn, because of I could not sing. As child I would like to play an instrument. Because of my parents were deaf, I had but no right courage to do it. When
I was in apprenticeship, a
schoolmate asked me, whether I would play in the bandsman choir at
the fire brigade. I did it,
without notes. We were playing at different
kermises, festivities, at which often was given free beer. After the
apprenticeship I had no opportunities to continue.
- In the trombone or blower choir I have learnt notes.
We play in parishes, at
evangelisations, in prisons etc. and already
some years in the advent in Herborn.
- Our church came into being through the 100-
year-jubilee. We record a CD.
29.01.00 was the recording of the first seven pieces.

- My wife Lissa looks after the Book table in the
church. I help a bit thereby. I have
always much readed, but since we have the
book table, I hardly come thereto. Preferably we sell the Bible. It is
the most important book. On CD-ROM it is
multifunctional able to read and to processing.
Several translations can one read concurrent
side by side, copy,
take notes, use aids to the Bible etc.
Maybe I later too can present here at this point
books.

- Every Tuesday in the evening meet the
house bible circles in different residential houses.
- Respective about 10 people speak first about
their needs and joys. Center is the
occupation with a text of the bibel. One
often surprise, how exact the Bible knows the people.
The prayer is also important, because it
is the straightest connection to God. In
every house bible circle there it looks differently,
as well as the parishes, which
also often differentiate.
